So although I didn’t find cheese balls on my trip to Sam’s Club, I did come across a new Snickers bar called the “Adventure Bar.” It’s another one of those stupid movie tie-ins, and this one was for the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull that comes out May 22nd. What peaked my interest was some marketing jargon that said “…and a cliffhanger kick of exotic spice and a hint of sweet coconut flavor.” Coconut?!?! I’m in. Well it turns out the extra coconut is just artificial flavor, and not the coconut flakes that you find in Almond Joy. Nonetheless, I much prefer this version over the regular Snickers bar, too bad it’s pretty much a limited issue. My perfect chocolate bar? Dark chocolate, nougat, almonds/cashews, and coconut flakes. Pretty much Milky Way Midnight mashed with Almond Joy, with more almonds. Hmmm, I’m gettin’ an idea…
